Lessons from our Founding Fathers

During the last few years of their lives John Adams and Thomas Jefferson wrote each other a series of fascinating letters. In them these two brilliant men reflected on their remarkable careers, the events that shaped their new nation, and the impact their personal actions had on the development of the United States of America. These letters became a window into their opinions and thoughts on a wide variety of topics, becoming a "Founding Fathers Blog" if you will.

In the spirit of this type of interaction I have created this blog - Adams and Jefferson. The workings of government have always fascinated me, and the creation of our Nation, its Constitution, Government, and Bill of Rights is, to me, one of the greatest miracles in human history. On this blog I would like to explore different topics of historical interest, principles of constitutional government, and the political events of today that are shaping our nation for future generations.

I look forward to our discussions.
